Vegan tips and recipes for the hurried academic


As an academic we often spend so much time in the lab that we barely have any time to eat - let alone prepare a vegan meal plan for the week!


Below you can find some TIPS to change your easy go-to dishes into a vegan one:


1) Minced meat, sausage, chicken and burgers:

Great vegan alternative brands, such as vegetarische slager, greenway, beyond and blue butcher, are found in Delhaize and Colruyt.


2) Violife grated 'cheese' instead of real cheese


3) Use soy cream instead of regular cream

(your bowels will thank you)


4) the sandwich spreads of Bon rill are excellent!
